Pulisic powered the Golden Eagles’ attack with four goals, one assist, and nine total points across a pair of conference victories. The sophomore netted two goals in each match—a 3-0 win over St. Joseph’s Brooklyn and a 4-0 victory at Yeshiva—while adding an assist to his impressive performance. Pulisic recorded 13 shots, including nine on target, leading SJLI to its third straight Skyline win

Defensive Player of the Week
 
AJ Lucas, Manhattanville
Senior, Keeper; Beacon, N.Y./Beacon

Lucas continued his dominant stretch in goal, recording his third consecutive shutout and fifth of the season in the Valiants’ 1-0 win over Maritime. The senior stopped both shots he faced to preserve the clean sheet and has now lowered his goals-against average to 1.38, anchoring one of the conference’s stingiest defensive units.

Dean Burchard, St. Joseph’s - Long Island
Freshman, Keeper; Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Connetquot

Burchard collected back-to-back shutouts to help the Golden Eagles to a perfect week in conference play. The freshman goalkeeper combined for three saves across 163 scoreless minutes, blanking both St. Joseph’s Brooklyn and Yeshiva.

Robert Derwin, Merchant Marine - Posted two goals and one assist in a 2-0 week for the Mariners, including the game-winner in a 3-2 victory over WestConn and another goal in a 5-0 Skyline win versus St. Joseph’s Brooklyn.
Jackson Justice, Merchant Marine - Anchored the back line for USMMA across two victories, helping limit opponents to just two goals over 180 minutes while adding key defensive clearances and marking in the shutout win over St. Joseph’s Brooklyn
Yahir Tafoya, Purchase - Delivered a two-goal performance to lift the Panthers to a 2-1 win over Sarah Lawrence, accounting for both of Purchase’s scores in the conference matchup
