In two games, Mackic (above), last week’s Skyline Rookie of the Week, recorded six goals and four assists in two dominating wins for the Panthers … During a 9-1 victory over CCNY, he contributed on six goals (3g, 3a) … Three days later, he scored a second consecutive hat trick during a 5-1 win over Brooklyn College.

Carey (above) faced a barrage of shots and kept the Mariners in the game over both of their two home ties on the week against Yeshiva (1-1) and Penn State-Harrisburg (2-2) … The Maccabees sent 13 shots towards Carey (five on goal) and he made four saves in the Skyline opener, while the Lions outshot the Mariners, 19-5, and Carey made a total of six saves to keep the game close.

Young (below) had two goals and an assist in just 40 minutes of action in the Privateers' 10-3 victory over en route to being named rookie of the week ... He broke a 3-3 tie in the 54th minute with his first collegiate goal, then scored again four minutes later … Young contributed to a third straight Maritime goal in the 65th minute, when he assisted on Justin Song's tally and also recorded an assist on the first goal in the Privateers' 2-1 win over Five Towns.

Mount Saint Vincent senior forward Ian Lamas had two goals and an assist in a 5-0 win over Pratt and followed that up with a two-goal performance in a 2-0 victory against Hunter … Old Westbury senior forward Ismael Ruiz notched two goals, including the game-winning score in matchup against Hunter … St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn junior forward Victor Naci found the back of the net for the third time in as many games at Baruch … Mount Saint Mary sophomore midfielder Marco Mazzarelli shined for the Knights in the midfield … U.S. Merchant Marine Academy sophomore midfielder John Germain recorded two goals for the Mariners, with tallies in a pair of home ties against Yeshiva and Penn State-Harrisburg; his 76th-minute goal against the latter wound up being the equalizer in the tie against the Lions, who just a day before defeated regional-powerhouse NYU … Maritime sophomore defender Chris Vazquez, last week’s offensive player of the week, finished with six points (2 G, 2 A) in the team’s 10-3 victory over York; he also had an assist on the game-winning goal against Five Towns to close the week … St. Joseph’s-Long Island freshman midfielder Brandon Flaherty scored one goal for the Golden Eagles in a win against Medgar Evers … Manhattanville junior keeper Jake Rothluebbers made his second-career appearance in goal and played 90 full minutes against Drew, making a career-high 11 saves against the Rangers … Maritime sophomore keeper Augusto Lebron withstood a furious Five Towns rally in the final 30 second, facing four shots, but not letting one by him to preserve a 2-1 victory; he made four saves in the contest, all in the second half, and also earned the win against York earlier in the week, as Maritime finished non-conference play with a 3-1-1 record after winning just two games last season.
