NEW YORK | After capturing back-to-back Skyline Conference Championships in 2023 and 2024, Manhattanville University has been selected as the preseason favorite in the 2025 Skyline Conference Men’s Soccer Coaches’ Poll, as voted on by the league’s 12 head coaches..
The Valiants, who edged St. Joseph’s-Long Island in last year’s title match to secure their second straight Skyline crown, earned seven first-place votes and a total of 117 points to top this year’s poll.
The Golden Eagles checked in second with 108 points and received five first-place tallies, while USMMA landed third with 103 points.
Rounding out the top half of the poll are Farmingdale State (85 points) and Mount Saint Vincent (80 points), both of whom return deep rosters and will look to challenge for postseason positioning.
Yeshiva (67), St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn (56), and Maritime (55) formed a tightly-packed middle tier in the voting, while Mount Saint Mary (42), Old Westbury (33), Sarah Lawrence (32), and Purchase (14) completed the rankings.
The 2025 Skyline Conference Men’s Soccer Championship is set to begin with first-round action on Saturday, November 1, followed by semifinal contests on Wednesday, November 5. The championship final will be played on Saturday, November 8 at the highest remaining seed, with the winner earning the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship.
