NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference has announced the 2026 Men’s Soccer All-Conference teams and major award winners, as voted on by conference coaches.
Yeshiva senior Franco Busso was named Offensive Player of the Year after an outstanding campaign in which he led the conference with 22 goals and 47 points. Busso ranked among the top five goal scorers in NCAA Division III, pacing the Maccabees' attack throughout the season.
Manhattanville senior Luis Del Riego earned Defensive Player of the Year honors as the anchor of a back line that recorded five clean sheets and posted a +24 goal differential in the games he played. He led his team with 1,221 minutes and added a goal and two assists.
Farmingdale State freshman Javier Newman was selected Rookie of the Year after totaling 11 goals, eight assists, and 30 points, all team highs for the Rams despite missing the start of the season with an injury. He led the Skyline in assists and ranked second in points, and was one of only two players in the conference to reach 30.
Tom Buckner of Manhattanville was voted Coach of the Year by his peers after leading the Valiants to a 12-3-4 overall record, 9-1-1 Skyline, and the top seed in the Skyline Championship.
