The senior catcher recorded hits in each of the Bears' four games, going for extra bases in all but one … McKeon (above) batted .615 (8 for 13) with a double, four runs scored, a pair of RBI and a stolen base … She went 3 for 4 and scored a pair of runs in the Bears' win over Wilmington and batted 2 for 4 against MCLA on her way to her first Skyline Player of the Week award this season.
Pitcher of the Week
Alexis Leibowitz, Yeshiva

Leibowitz (above) earned two complete-game victories in the circle over York (N.Y.) … In the first game of a doubleheader, she struck out seven batters and gave up one earned run … In the second game, Leibowitz struck out five more batters … She also helped her own cause at the plate … In the opener, she went 2 for 4 with two runs batted in, stole a pair of bases and drew a walk with the bases loaded … In the finale, Leibowitz scored four runs, produced a single and drew two walks.
Rookie of the Week

Freshman, Catcher; Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa
Busa (below) batted .600 on the week, going 6 for 10 in four games to lead the Golden Eagles ... The freshman knocked in four runs while scoring one ... She recorded a double and one run on five hits in a game against Wis-Stout.

Brooke Horn pitched in three of the team’s four games in Florida, totaling an ERA of 2.70 while striking out a combined 13 batters, including a season-high six against WestConn.
