Hurowitz (above) picked up a pair of double-doubles (17.5 ppg, 11.5 rpg), while shooting 50 percent from downtown over two Skyline victories for the conference co-leading Rams ... At Mount Saint Vincent, he scored 15 points, pulled down a game-high 12 caroms and blocked two shots ... Hurowitz rounded out the week versus St. Joseph's-Brooklyn with game-highs of 20 points and 11 boards, shooting 5 of 8 from beyond the arc and passing three assists ... The five triples against the Bears are a career-best effort from long range … This is his second Skyline Player of the Week honor this season.

The seven-time Skyline Rookie of the Week had a big week to help Yeshiva clinch a home playoff game in this winter’s looming postseason tournament … In YU's come-from-behind road victory over St. Joseph's-Long Island, Samet (below) had 21 points, five rebounds and three assists … In YU’s win over Mount Saint Vincent, he scored 22 points, grabbed five boards and dished out a pair of assists.
 
Honor Roll

Yeshiva sophomore guard Max Zakheim scored 17 points, grabbed seven rebounds and forced a pair of steals in a come-from-behind win over St. Joseph’s-Long Island before capping the week with 20 points, seven boards and four assists in a victory over Mount Saint Vincent … Manhattanville senior forward Jackson Leech led the Valiants to a pair of wins, scoring 36 points with 18 rebounds, six assists, five blocks and three steals, highlighted by 20 points in a victory over Sarah Lawrence as he pulled down nine rebounds, handed out two assists and blocked three shots … Maritime senior guard Ryan Donovan paced the first-place Privateers to a pair of Skyline victories, averaging 20.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in wins over U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and Purchase … St. Joseph’s-Long Island junior forward Spencer Malloy finished the week averaging nearly a double-double with 14.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game, totaling 29 points while shooting almost 60% from the field with 19 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and a pair of steals … Mount Saint Mary sophomore forward Jayden Figueroa led the Knights to a 1-1 week in conference play, averaging 12.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game … Sarah Lawrence senior guard Chris Torres returned from injury, propelling the Gryphons in scoring with 24 points against USMMA … U.S. Merchant Marine Academy sophomore guard Isaac Vencel drained the game-winning bucket in the closing seconds of the Mariners' 77-75 home win over Sarah Lawrence, finishing the game tied for the team high with 19 points.
