Jackson (above front row, No. 2), a transfer, continued her terrific start to her career in Riverdale, when she went on to earn Tournament MVP honors in the Dr. Betty Shabazz Tournament … The New York native, who made her way to CMSV from Monroe College, averaged 20 points, three rebounds and two assists against Bard and Medgar Evers, while shooting an impressive 63 percent from the floor to lead the Dolphins to the championship.

Grasseler (below) once again narrowly missed out on a double-double with a career-high of 10 points to go along with nine rebounds in the Mariners' 65-44 road win at Lehman.

U.S. Merchant Marine Academy sophomore guard Hannah Ramsden posted a career-night in the Mariners' 65-44 road win, with 16 points and six steals to go along with four assists and four rebounds; she shot 61.5 percent from the field (8-for-13) …
St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn senior forward Destiny Hurt finished with a game-high 17 points in the Bears' lone contest of the week against Brooklyn; the team’s leading scorer also posted three assists and as many steals in the Bears’ non-conference finale … Mount Saint Mary junior guard Shannon Phelan led the team against New Paltz with 14 points on 6-of-13 shooting, seven rebounds and five assists – a catalyst in a major comeback in the third and fourth quarters … St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn freshman guard Mercedes Perez, in addition to her 10 points – scoring double figures in each game this season – finished with six rebounds, four assists and three steals against Brooklyn … Mount Saint Mary freshman forward Sara Cashin, in her first collegiate start, filled the stat sheet with 10 points, two rebounds, one block, one assist and one steal to help lead the team against New Paltz.
