Malloy (above) powered his way to his first Skyline Player of the Week honor after leading the Golden Eagles in a 2-0 week … The big man averaged a double-double of 20.5 points and 11 rebounds per game ... He finished with 41 total points with 22 boards, and recorded a game-high 20 points on 9-of-17 shooting, with eight rebounds in a win over Old Westbury before dropping in another 21 points with 14 boards in a league win against Mount Saint Vincent … Behind Malloy, the Golden Eagles are now 3-1 in conference play.  

Rookie of the Week

Macai John, Farmingdale State
Freshman, Forward; Hauppauge, N.Y./Hauppauge

The high-flying John averaged 11.5 points per game on 8-of-12 shooting and 7-of-8 free-throw shooting in 32 minutes of action over the Rams' 2-0 Skyline week … He led FSC with 16 points (6-of-8 FG, 4-of-5 FT) in a conference victory at St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, while adding two steals, as many assists and one blocked shot … Against Old Westbury, John added seven points (2-of-4 FG, 3-of-3 FT), five boards and one block in the team's second league win of the week … That victory was highlighted by the freshman throwing down a monstrous dunk (below) in the first half against the Panthers … FSC is now 5-0 in conference play.

Farmingdale State senior guard/forward Nick Hurowitz shot .591 from the floor (13 of 22) while averaging 15 ppg, 7 rpg, 2.5 apg and 1.5 spg in playing just 36 minutes over the Rams' pair of Skyline victories … U.S. Merchant Marine Academy sophomore guard Kody Robinson led the Mariners with 15.0 points over their two victories, scoring 17 points in a road win at Sarah Lawrence and 13 in a home win over Manhattanville … Manhattanville senior guard Tommy Lotito scored 27 points with 19 rebounds, five assists and four steals during the week for the Valiants, highlighted by his second double-double of the season with 15 points and 13 rebounds at USMMA … Sarah Lawrence junior forward Lucas Murray averaged 15.5 points and 7.5 rebounds over two contests and led the team in rebounding for both games … Mount Saint Mary junior guard/forward Connor Cyran averaged 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game over two Skyline contests, shooting 52.9% from the floor (9 of 17) … Maritime junior guard Theo Noble led the Privateers with 15 points in a home win over Mount Saint Mary … St. Joseph's-Brooklyn freshman guard Jonathan Reno finished with 11 points, shooting 60% from beyond the arc against Farmingdale State.
