Heyder paced the Rams' offense with a monster week at the plate, batting .625 (10-for-16) with 13 RBI, 12 runs scored, three doubles, two home runs and two stolen bases. He posted a 1.313 slugging percentage while helping Farmingdale extend their win streak to 13.
Paul McNally, St. Joseph's - Long Island
Sophomore, Outfield; Holbrook, N.Y. / Sachem East
McNally starred both at the plate and on the mound for the Golden Eagles, batting .652 (15-for-23) with eight RBI and six runs scored. He also earned a win on the mound, tossing 6.0 innings while allowing just two earned runs against Merchant Marine.
Pitcher of the Week
Ryan Callaghan, St. Joseph's - Long Island
Graduate, P; Kings Park, N.Y. / Kings Park
Callaghan went 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA across two starts, allowing just three earned runs over 11.2 innings. He surrendered eight hits, struck out seven, and helped the Golden Eagles secure a pair of Skyline victories. The graduate tossed a one-hit complete game shutout against Maritime with seven strikeouts.
Rookie of the Week
Griffin White, Manhattanville
Freshman, Infield; Poughkeepsie, N.Y. / Arlington
White paced the Valiants' offense during a key week in the Skyline title race, batting .500 (13-for-26) with a .577 on-base percentage. The rookie drove in 10 runs, scored seven times, and added four doubles while helping Manhattanville to a 4-2 week in conference play.
