NEW YORK | The United States Merchant Marine Academy has been selected as the favorite in the 2026-27 Skyline Conference Women's Swimming & Diving Preseason Coaches' Poll, collecting 25 points and five first-place votes to lead the six-team field.

The Mariners enter the upcoming campaign looking to build on their tradition of success in the Skyline Conference and continue their strong championship performances.

Sarah Lawrence was selected second with 19 points and the remaining first-place vote, while Mount Saint Mary followed closely in third with 18 points. Just one point separates the Gryphons and Knights in the preseason rankings.

St. Joseph's-Long Island checked in fourth with 12 points, followed closely by Maritime in fifth with 11 points. Purchase rounded out the six-team field with five points.

The 2026-27 Skyline Conference Women's Swimming & Diving Championship is scheduled for January 23-24, 2027, at SUNY Purchase in Purchase, N.Y.
