The junior turned in a career performance during Purchase’s five-set win over Lehman, hammering down a career-high 25 kills to power the Panthers to their victory.

Connor Ruais, St. Joseph’s - Long Island
Senior, Libero; Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Connetquot, N.Y.
Ruais anchored the Golden Eagles’ back row with steady defensive play, posting a team-high 22 digs and four assists across the week. The senior finished with 49 service receptions in 50 chances. He recorded nine digs against nationally ranked Springfield and averaged 2.0 digs per set.

Danny Kanner, Purchase
Freshman; Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown
Kanner directed the Panthers’ offense with a strong all-around week, compiling 125 assists, 30 digs, nine kills, and three service aces over five matches. The freshman dished out a career-high 44 assists in Purchase’s five-set win over Lehman and averaged 6.6 assists per set.

Etvola Sango, St. Joseph’s (BK) - Opened his collegiate career with an impressive 19-kill, 10-dig double-double in a five-set victory over Brooklyn College, hitting .283 while adding five blocks and an ace
