NEW YORK I Skyline Conference Men's Volleyball Championship Most Outstanding Player Luke MacPherson (above) and the St. Joseph's-Long Island four-time champs will play Thiel College in the play-in round of the NCAA Tournament Thursday at Southern Virginia University.

The start time for the match has not been finalized yet. 

Dynastic St. Joseph's-LI claimed the Skyline crown yet again in 2025 with a 3-1 win over New Jersey City Saturday at home. The Golden Eagles, who previously won the league in 2022, 2023 and 2024, finished the regular season 22-8 with a perfect 18-0 conference mark this spring, and will be looking to make waves in the tourney this week.  

The victor would advance to the first round for a matchup with host Southern Virginia.

The Tomcats capped a record-setting regular season of their own by claiming the first ever Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship with a sweep of Grove City Saturday in front of a raucous crowd at Menpa Court at Beeghly Gymnasium to earn the programs first NCAA Tournament berth. Thiel is one of the hottest teams entering the Tournament as they have won 15 consecutive matches, a program record. The Blue and Gold also set a program record for wins in a season with 22.

Three play-in round matches will be played Thursday while first-round action will begin Friday. The quarterfinals will take place Saturday. The national semifinals will take place Friday, April 25, with the championship slated for Sunday the 27th. The final two rounds will be hosted by Roanoke College at the Creger Center.
