Farmingdale State Eyes Sixth Straight Skyline Golf Title After Topping 2025 Preseason Poll

NEW YORK | The path to the Skyline Conference golf crown once again runs through Farmingdale. Farmingdale State College, the defending Skyline champion, has been selected as the preseason favorite in the 2025 Skyline Conference Golf Coaches’ Poll, as voted on by the league’s eight head coaches.

The Rams, who captured their fifth consecutive Skyline Championship in 2024, collected seven first-place votes and totaled 49 points to lead the preseason rankings.

St. Joseph’s-Long Island was slotted second with 37 points, followed by Old Westbury (30 points) and Mount Saint Mary (28 points, one first-place vote). Manhattanville (24 points) and Yeshiva (23 points) checked in fifth and sixth, while Purchase (19 points) and Mount Saint Vincent (14 points) rounded out the poll.

The 2025 Skyline Conference Golf Championship will be contested over two rounds on Sunday–Monday, October 19-20, at Eisenhower Park - White Course in East Meadow, NY.
