He came to the plate seven times in Game 2, reaching base in six of them and lifting a sacrifice fly in the other ... He ended up 3 for 3 with a triple, three walks, four RBI and four runs while also stealing a base in the 18-7 victory.

Dougherty (above) pitched a complete-game two-hitter on 79 pitches in the Rams' Skyline-opening victory versus Mount Saint Vincent, setting the program record with his fourth career shutout ... Walked one and struck out eight Dolphins, while facing just one batter over the minimum ... Carried a no-hitter three batters into the fourth inning, and did not allow a runner past first base ... Preseason Second Team All-American has not allowed a run over his last 10.2 innings pitched, permitting just four base runners during the stretch while striking out 12.

Kruer (below) hit .467 (7 for 15) with nine RBI, an inside-the-park home run, a 1.133 OPS, a .667 slugging percentage, and a .467 OBP in the Mariners' four games ... He scored seven runs, and also registered a career-high five RBI in the Blue and Gray's 13-4 victory over NJCU ... He also posted a career-best three runs scored in a 16-1 victory over Yeshiva to close the week ... In addition to his performance at the plate, the freshman threw two scoreless innings on the hill, striking out four in four games, including a career-high three strikeouts in USMMA's 17-1 doubleheader win over the Maccabees ... He has 14 RBIs in his last six games.

Purchase junior outfielder Patrick Reyes went 8 for 19 over six games with two triples, a home run, 10 RBIs, four runs, three walks and a stolen base; during a comeback win over St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, Reyes hit a walk-off two-run single in the bottom of the seventh after the Bears intentionally walked the batter in front of him … U.S. Merchant Marine Academy senior catcher Garrett Clapsaddle batted .438 and posted a 1.158 OPS, a .667 slugging percentage, a .467 OBP, and eight RBI in Kings Point's four games; he scored five runs and reached 100 career RBI in the Blue and Gray's 16-1 victory over Yeshiva in their weekend doubleheader, and also registered a three-run inside-the-park homer in the second game during a 17-1 win over the Maccabees.
