Collins (above) tied his career-high with six goals in the Mariners' 17-7 home win over Drew University ... His six tallies came on just seven shots on goal ... The senior has now recorded six-or-more points in two consecutive games and leads the Skyline Conference with 12 goals, is second in the league with 5.33 points per game and sixth with 1.33 assists per game.
Defensive Player of the Week
Dan Erler, Farmingdale State
Senior; Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown East
Erler (above) earns the nod in consecutive weeks ... Last season's conference championship Most Outstanding Player made 13 saves, including five apiece in the third and fourth periods, to help the Rams to a 14-5 victory at Eastern Connecticut State ... The win was the 31st in Erler's FSC career, and moved him into first place on the program's all-time list in that category.
Rookie of the Week
Nicholas Uzakewicz, Maritime
Freshman, Attack; Hauppauge, N.Y./Hauppauge
Uzakewicz (below) finished with six points in the Privateers' 12-7 win at New Paltz ... He handed out five assists, which all came in the first 20 minutes of the game, as Maritime built a 7-1 lead, before scoring a man-up tally in the third quarter ... Uzakewicz had a goal and an assist to go along with a ground ball at Vassar on his way to the top rookie honor of the week.

Honor Roll
Farmingdale State sophomore attack Adam Giovinco posted a five-point outing with four goals and one assist, and completed a hat trick just 23:38 into play, in the Rams' triumph at Eastern Connecticut; the victory was the team's third-straight decision, and Giovinco now leads the Skyline in goals and points, while he is also tied for second with eight assists … Maritime senior attack Connor Tomich had a hat trick in Maritime's 12-7 win at New Paltz; he also found the back of the net twice in a loss at Vassar, connecting on five of his seven shots on goal across the two games ... U.S. Merchant Marine Academy junior defense Jake Rossman tied for the team-high with two caused turnovers and also scooped up three ground balls in the Mariners' win over; many aspects of the junior's shut-down defense does not show up on the scoresheet.
