Davis (above) propelled the Gryphons to two conference wins on the back of 76 kills in three matches and hitting over .260 in all three efforts … He also totaled 34 digs, and his week was highlighted by a 29-kill and 14-dig effort in a three-set win over Yeshiva … Davis also registered five block assists, including two against the Maccabees in SLC's second Skyline win of the week.
 
Libero of the Week

Figueroa (above) played in seven of a possible eight sets as NJCU went 2-0, both in Skyline play, to extend its winning streak to nine in a row … The fifth-year libero had 18 digs (2.57/set) to go with three assists … He started off with three digs and an assist in just two sets played during the quick 3-0 sweep of Old Westbury at home and then, in a possible Skyline Championship preview, Figuero notched a career- and match-best 15 digs over five sets to go with two assists as the Gothic Knights took down two-time defending champion, St. Joseph’s-Long Island on the road.

Piscitelli (below) finished with 20 kills, averaging 2.86 kills per set, while hitting .500 in seven sets for the Golden Eagles … The newcomer added 17 digs, 2.43 digs per set ... He knocked down eight kills with four digs, and 10 receptions in two sets of a five-set match against NJCU and was a perfect 5 for 5 (1.000 hitting percentage) with six digs in a 3-0 sweep of Purchase.

Ramapo junior setter JoJo Meyer dished out a team high 108 assists, 12.00 per set, in a 3-0 week for the Roadrunners; he also recorded three aces and three kills, while posting six blocks, including one solo block … Mount Saint Vincent senior outside hitter James Rose netted 30 kills and 17 digs in a week where the Dolphins went 3-1 against the Skyline … Manhattanville freshman outside hitter Emil Morban Medrano earned 29 kills, 24 digs, five aces, two assists and three blocks in three matches, highlighted by the team’s win over Sarah Lawrence, where he posted his fifth double-double of the season with 15 kills and 10 digs … New Jersey City University senior middle blocker Brandon DaSilva played in six of eight sets last week as he efficiently led the Gothic Knights to a 2-0 mark, helping his squad extend its winning streak; the fifth-year finished with 23 kills (team-high 3.83/set) and two errors on 38 swings (team-high .553 hitting percentage) to go with a team-high 10 blocks (1.67/set) for a total of 30.0 points (team-best 5.00/set) … St. Joseph’s-Long Island senior outside hitter Mark Williams led the Golden Eagles with 43 kills, averaging 3.91 kills per set.; he recorded a team-high 22 kills and three service aces with five digs against NJCU and added 10 kills and seven digs against No. 18 SUNY New Paltz … St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn senior outside hitter Alex Helfant registered 40 kills (3.33 per set) and 38 digs (3.16 per set) in the Bears' three games last week; logging double-doubles of 14 kills and as many digs against Sarah Lawrence and a season-best 17 kills and 20 digs, along with a pair of service aces, against Yeshiva … Ramapo freshman libero Jon Zawada was second on the team with 18 digs in a 3-0 week for the Roadrunners … St. Joseph’s-Long Island sophomore libero Connor Ruais finished the week with 18 digs, averaging 1.38 digs per set … St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn senior libero Leonel Bravo totaled 54 digs at a rate of 4.5 digs/set, including match highs of 12 against St. Joseph's-Long Island and 23 against Yeshiva, with a team-leading 19 against Sarah Lawrence sandwiched in between … Ramapo freshman middle blocker Anubis Roman paced the team with eight blocks, including one solo; he also tallied 16 kills to hit .565 with two aces … Purchase freshman opposite hitter Channing Williams helped lead the Panthers to a 2-2 week against Skyline teams, as he totaled 37 kills, four aces, six block assists and 24 digs … Manhattanville freshman outside hitter/setter/libero Joe Gandarillas racked up 37 assists, five kills, 17 digs and three aces, as he played seemingly every position on the floor in the team's three matches … New Jersey City University freshman outside hitter Marcus Pardasie finished as the only player to see action in all eight possible sets, notching a team-high 28 kills (3.50/set) with eight errors on 61 swings (.328 hitting percentage) to go with a team-high 21 digs (2.63/set), a team-high six aces (0.75/set) and two blocks for a team-high 35.5 points (4.44/set).
