NEW YORK |
The eight-team field for the 2023 Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Championship is now set.

Quarterfinal play gets underway on campus sites Tuesday evening, when top-seeded Farmingdale State College will welcome No. 8-seed Mount Saint Mary to Nold Hall for a 7 p.m. tip-off.

The winner of that contest will advance to Thursday's semifinals round, where it will take on the victor of Tuesday's 7 p.m. tilt between fifth-seeded United States Merchant Marine Academy and fourth-seeded SUNY Maritime College, which will play host to the 7 p.m. quarterfinal matchup in Throggs Neck, N.Y.

On the other side of the bracket, Manhattanville is the No. 2 seed in the championship, and will kick off championship play at Kennedy Gymnasium in Purchase, N.Y., when it plays host to a 7 p.m. quarterfinal on Tuesday against No. 7-seed College of Mount Saint Vincent.

The winner of the Valiants/Dolphins tilt will advance to Thursday night action, where they will face the winning side from Tuesday's 8 p.m. contest at the Max Stern Athletic Center in New York, between sixth-seeded St. Joseph's University-Long Island, and No. 3-seed Yeshiva University.

The championship final will take place Feb. 25 (note: accommodations will be made for religious observances) at the highest-remaining seed, with the winner earning the Skyline's automatic bid to the following week's 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship.

In the most-recent edition of the Skyline tourney, Yeshiva emerged victorious over Manhattanville in the 2022 championship final to repeat as league champs – its third crown in the last four seasons.
