Rookie of the Week

Sawyer (above) paced the Valiants at the NJIT Highlander XC Challenge, posting a time of 23:16.1 to claim 100th place … She averaged a 7:29.3 mile in the 5K race en route to her first conference rookie of the week award.

Honor Roll
 
Farmingdale State senior Alycia Haynes led the Rams at the NJIT Highlander XC Challenge in Newark, completing the 5,000-meter course at Branch Brook Park with a time of 20:38.8 … Maritime senior Adelle Leger finished 17th overall and seventh among Division III runners at the Jack St. Clair Memorial Invitational, completing the 6000-meter course in 25:57.8; she led the Privateers to fourth place in the team standings in process.
