For the second time this season, Hunter (above) earns Player of the Week honors as she recorded a double-double in all three of the Mariners' wins this past week – at Medgar Evers (34 points, 12 rebounds); at Manhattanville (16 points, 17 rebounds); and at Mount Saint Vincent (20 points, 10 rebounds) … The senior continues to rank in the top-20 in the nation in rebounds per game (fifth), points per game (19th), double-doubles (eighth) and free-throw percentage (18th).

Rookie of the Week

Orlando (below) extended her double-digit scoring streak to six straight games for her fourth Rookie of the Week award ... The freshman put up 40 points across a pair of games for the Valiants, with five rebounds, four steals, three assists and a block … She Went 9 of 14 from the field while hitting all six free throws against Sarah Lawrence to score a career-high 24 points ... She also had two assists, a block and a pair of assists against the Gryphons, and scored 16 on against USMMA with three rebounds.

St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn junior forward Destiny Hurt lifted the Bears to a 2-0 week; averaging 26.5 points and 12 boards over that span, erupting for season-highs of 29 points and 14 rebounds against Old Westbury … Yeshiva junior guard Shai Rahamim led the Macs to a come-from-behind road victory over Berkeley, scoring a game-high 21 points … Mount Saint Mary grad student guard Katie Smith totaled 19 points and scored the 1,000th point of her career in a win over St. Joseph’s-Long Island … St. Joseph's-Long Island senior guard Alyssa Adomaites paced the Golden Eagles with a total of 26 points across two games, averaging 13 points per game … Sarah Lawrence sophomore guard Kumi Tamura scored 20 points in a close loss to St. Joseph's-Brooklyn; Tamura is the leading scorer on the season for the Gryphons, averaging 14.2 points per game … Manhattanville senior forward Julianna Kascic notched a pair of double-doubles for the Valiants in a two-game week, bringing her total to 10 double-doubles on the season … St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn freshman guard Kristen Donovan recorded her first collegiate double-double against Old Westbury, scoring 13 points and hauling in 11 rebounds … Farmingdale State freshman guard Victoria Kantzian averaged 13 points and five steals per game over a 1-1 Skyline week, including collecting a career-best 17 points in a win over Old Westbury.
