Shyann Parker, Farmingdale State

Parker opened the 2025–26 campaign with a dominant all-around performance, finishing just two assists and two steals shy of a quadruple-double in Farmingdale State’s season-opening victory over CCNY. The senior point guard filled the stat sheet with 12 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, and eight steals on 5-of-10 shooting from the field and a perfect 2-for-2 from the line. Parker’s career-best effort set the tone for the Rams’ season as she led both ends of the floor in a commanding 68–43 win.
Rookie of the Week
Jade Ling Eng-Stewart, Sarah Lawrence
Freshman, Guard; Manhattan, N.Y./Fieldston School
Eng-Stewart made an immediate impact for Sarah Lawrence, averaging 16.0 points and 7.0 rebounds across her first two collegiate contests. The first-year guard scored 24 points and grabbed seven boards in the Gryphons’ victory over Mount Holyoke after adding eight points and seven rebounds in her debut against Brooklyn. Eng-Stewart shot 50 percent from the field for the week and contributed on both ends of the floor, helping Sarah Lawrence split its opening weekend.
Honorable Mention
Mercedes Perez, St. Joseph’s - Brooklyn - Perez exploded for 29 points in St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn’s win over Medgar Evers, shooting 10-of-15 from the field and an impressive 6-of-8 from three-point range. The junior guard also added three rebounds and three assists in the 87–59 victory as she powered the Bears to their first win of the season
Tianna Patten, Purchase - Patten turned in an impressive debut weekend, averaging 12.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.5 steals while shooting 73 percent from the field. The first-year forward tallied 16 points on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting in a win over Cairn and was named to the All-Tournament Team at the inaugural Purchase Panther Classic
