Kascic (above) averaged a double-double in a three-game week for the Valiants as Manhattanville improved to 7-0 ... She scored 63 points and collected 34 rebounds in Manhattanville's trio of contests, opening the week with a 22 point, eight rebound effort in the win at USMMA ... She led the Valiants to victory over Yeshiva with a 20 point, 15 rebound display and closed out the week with 21 points and 11 boards against Centenary ... The senior added five steals, eight assists and a pair of blocks to her totals.  

Rookie of the Week

Amanda Orlando, Manhattanville  
Freshman, Guard; Putnam Valley, N.Y./Putnam Valley


Orlando (below) scored 16 points while making the start in all three games for the Valiants … She added five steals, five assists and seven rebounds in the trio of wins … The freshman scored six with three steals, a pair of rebounds and a block in the victory against USMMA ... Scored four points with a steal and two assists against Yeshiva … And to close the week against Centenary, Orlando scored another six points with a season-high four rebounds.

Honor Roll

Sarah Lawrence sophomore guard Kumi Tamura had back-to-back 23-point performances for the Gryphons, leading them to two victories over Pratt Institute and St. Joseph's-Brooklyn … Yeshiva senior guard Yuval Nitzan totaled 19 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and just as many steals against Mount Saint Mary before dropping 15 points, seven assists, seven rebounds and five steals against Farmingdale State … USMMA sophomore guard/forward Grace Jackson led the Mariners with 14.5 points over their two games – a home loss to Manhattanville and a home win over Mount St. Vincent … St. Joseph's-Long Island junior guard Lanyah Ford paced the Golden Eagles in a 2-0 conference week with 38 total points on 42.1% shooting, averaging 19 points and 13.5 rebounds per game while recording four assists and three steals … St. Joseph's-Brooklyn junior forward Destiny Hurt averaged 21.5 points, nine boards, 5.5 steals, and 2.5 assists in the Bears' 1-1 week; including a 24-point, 10-rebound effort in an overtime win over Hunter and 19 points, eights caroms and six steals against Sarah Lawrence … Mount Saint Mary freshman forward Brianna Guglielmo averaged 10.0 points and 5.0 rebounds for the Knights over a pair of Skyline contests … St. Joseph's-Brooklyn freshman guard Kristen Donovan helped the Bears earn an OT victory over Hunter behind 14 points, eight rebounds and three steals.
