Mendyk (above) tied for first place at the Purchase College Invitational on Oct. 11 with a score of 77 (+6) … At the St. Joseph’s College-Long Island Tri Match on Oct. 15, he placed first among all Skyline participants, and third overall with a score of 80 (+9). This is his second Player of the Week honor this fall.

After winning the Emmanuel Invitational on Oct. 6, Patrick Shea (above) tied for first place at the Purchase Invitational … The back-to-back Skyline Player of the Week shared the individual title with OW’s Sean Mendyk, with the duo carding 77 on the par-71 Griffith E. Harris Golf Course … Shea joined Mendyk as the players to break 80 and won the event by three strokes.

At The Melee tournament at Riverview Country Club in Easton, Pennsylvania, Quinlan (below) registered a two-day, 36-hole total of 155 (plus-13), tying for 23rd out of 58 competitors ... His best round on the weekend came on the final day, when he shot a plus-5 76 ... This is his first conference weekly golf honor of his collegiate career.

Farmingdale State junior Chris Iguchi finished tied for second (plus-1, 143) at the 36-hole The Melee event, guiding the Rams to a second-place finish at the 11-team event; he set the school records for lowest round (66), and lowest round in relation to par (minus-5) … Manhattanville sophomore Connor Hill and senior Ryan Moran posted identical rounds of 80 (+9) to tie for third overall at the PC Invite … Mount Saint Mary sophomore Trevor Zamudio helped the Mount to the team title at the Purchase Invitational, carding an 81 and finishing in a tie for fifth place before capping the week with a fifth-place finish (80 on the par-70 course at the Powelton Club) in the MSMC Fall Shootout.
