Men's Soccer All-Conference Team Announced

Manhattanville junior midfielder, Pablo Bravo Olle
NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference's 12 head men's soccer coaches have voted on the 2019 edition of the all-conference team, with Manhattanville junior winger Pablo Bravo Olle and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy senior keeper Matthew Milner earning Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year praise, respectively.

College of Mount Saint Vincent freshman Sory Konate has been named Rookie of the Year, while Mount Saint Mary College head coach Kevin Longacre was tabbed as Coach of the Year in a vote by his peers.

Bravo Olle posted the most assists (16 - tied for third in Division III) and points (40) in the Skyline, while his 12 goals tied for fourth. He helped a Valiants offense whose 3.28 goals per game output ranks seventh in Division III.

Milner repeats as Defensive Player of the Year after posting a 1.05 goals against average and .772 save percentage over the course of the season. In conference action, he anchored a Mariners defense that allowed just six goals -- good for the top mark in the Skyline.

Konate was the top scorer for the Dolphins in his rookie campaign, registering six goals (including one game-winner) and two assists in 2019.

Longacre earns Coach of the Year distinction for the fourth time (2012, '14, '17), after guiding the Knights to the top seed in last week's conference championship. Mount Saint Mary finished the year 14-6-1, and posted a 10-0-1 mark in regular-season conference play.

Konate, Milner and Bravo Olle are part of a 15-player all-conference first-team, while 15 student-athletes comprise the all-conference second-team. A total of 12 student-athletes were recognized by their respective coaches on the all-sportsmanship team.
