NEW YORK | The field for the six-team, 2019 Skyline Conference Men's Soccer Championship is now set, with first round play getting underway on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 2.

Top-seeded and two-time defending champion Mount Saint Mary College (13-5-1, 10-0-1 Skyline) and second-seeded Manhattanville College (13-2-2, 10-0-1) have both earned byes into the Nov. 6, semifinals round, with the championship final taking place between semifinal winners on Saturday, Nov. 9. All rounds will be hosted at campus sites, and the winner of the tournament earns the Skyline's automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship.

Saturday at noon, fifth-seeded SUNY Old Westbury (7-9-2, 5-5-1) will travel to local rival and fourth-seeded Farmingdale State College (9-10, 6-5) for a noon kickoff; the winner of this match-up will travel to Mount Saint Mary for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Nov. 6.

The other first-round contest on Nov. 2 pits sixth-seeded SUNY Maritime College (10-9-1, 5-5-1) traveling across the Throgs Neck Bridge for a 2 p.m. kickoff at third-seeded arch-rival, the United States Merchant Marine Academy (10-6-1, 7-3-1). Manhattanville awaits the winner of this contest for a 4 p.m., Nov. 6 kickoff in semifinals play.
