Reflecting the tremendous and vital diversity of the New York metropolitan region, the mission of the Skyline Conference is:

The Skyline Conference champions equitable and inclusive athletics competition for its diverse membership of public, private, faith based and military schools, enhancing each members' dedication to providing a holistic education and fostering institutional success and connection.

The Skyline Conference's Core Values are:

Diversity: We celebrate the varied identities of the students, staff and schools we serve by providing flexibility for members to adhere to their unique value systems while ensuring an inclusive environment across the conference.

Respect: We honor the dignity of all people engaging with the conference, uphold high standards for ethical conduct on and off the playing field, and practice empathy in personal
interactions. We hold each other accountable to providing consistent and equitable opportunities for all student-athletes and schools in the conference.

Growth: We provide student-athletes with opportunities to reach high levels of academic and athletic performance while practicing leadership and other life skills. We prioritize the wellbeing
of students and staff, providing resources to support mental health and overall safety. Member schools help each other improve through accountability to athletics standards and a
commitment to community engagement.

Sustainable Access: We protect our compact geographic footprint to ensure efficiency of travel time and environmental sustainability. Also, we promote opportunities for in-person interaction,
consistent with our focus to educate through exposure to diverse personal identities, perspectives and activities.

Competitive Spirit: We invest in high-quality athletic programs to help student-athletes reach their full potential, and to enhance the overall vibrancy of campus and community life.
Members strive to be competitive in each sport and maintain high standards for athletics operations.
