Each Skyline Conference institution is to strive to provide the best possible competitive circumstances for student-athletes.  All competitions are to be conducted in a non-discriminatory manner, encouraging enthusiastic support while maintaining good sportsmanship.  Coaches and athletes will abide by the letter and spirit of the playing rules and will respect the spirit of competition and participation, regardless of the outcomes of the competitions.  All coaches, student-athletes and administrators shall conduct themselves in a manner which upholds the spirit of good sportsmanship at all times.

Beginning in 2013-14, each sport will recognize an All-Sportsmanship Team, and the conference will recognize one male and one female at the end of the year with Sporting Awards.  Each school may nominate one male and one female student-athlete (the nominees must be an athlete already named to an All-Sportsmanship Team that year) and the Directors of Athletics will vote at the end of the academic year. 

Previously, the Skyline Conference awarded a Sportsmanship Trophy from 2007-13 to gauge team sportsmanship among its member schools.
