MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY WEEKLY AWARDS - OCTOBER 13

Runner of the Week
 
Gabriel Aguilar, Farmingdale
Junior; Levittown, N.Y./Division Ave.


Aguilar continued his impressive season with another top-10 finish, placing ninth overall at the NJIT XC Invitational with a time of 26:40.2 on the 8K course. The junior standout was the second Division III runner to cross the line and has now recorded three straight top-10 performances for the Rams.

Rookie of the Week
 
Ganilo Quintos, St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn
Freshman; Boston, Mass./Christ the King


Quintos posted a personal-best time of 31:27 at the NJIT Invitational, finishing inside the top 100 runners in a highly competitive field. 

Honorable Mention

Ryan Steinberg, St. Joseph’s-Long Island – Led the Golden Eagles to a fourth-place team finish at NJIT, clocking 26:44.2 to secure a top-10 individual result.
Joey DeMilio, Manhattanville – Was the Valiants’ top finisher at the NJIT Highlander Challenge, placing 38th overall with a time of 28:12.8 in the 8K.
