Kelly (above) led the Gryphons as the team went 1-1 in a pair of tough non-conference matchups ... The junior averaged 22 points, seven rebounds and three steals on the week, leading all players in scoring in both of the team's games ... He also crashed the offensive glass, pulling down seven rebounds in addition to his work scoring the ball. 
    
Rookie of the Week 
 
Colin Mills, St. Joseph's-Brooklyn 
Freshman, Guard; White Plains, N.Y./Archbishop Stepinac 

Mills (above) led the Bears in scoring during their 2-0 week, averaging 25 points ... The newcomer scored a season-high 27 against Medgar Evers before dropping 23 against Penn State Abington, including the game-winning shot ... He also had three steals against the Cougars and five rebounds against the Nittany Lions. 
 
Honor Roll 
 
St. Joseph's-Long Island senior forward Spencer Malloy led the Golden Eagles to a 1-1 record, averaging 19.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game, while shooting 53.8 percent from the field; he set a new program record and become the official leader in St. Joseph's-Long Island history in rebounding, breaking the previous mark of 651 rebounds in the win against Brockport, ending the week with 664 for his career ... Manhattanville senior guard Andrew Saint-Louis matched his career-high of 27 points in the team's lone action against Ramapo; he went 10 of 19 from the field and hit six of eight free-throw attempts with five rebounds and a pair of steals ... U.S. Merchant Marine Academy senior forward  Drew Zalescik led all players with 23 points on 55.6 percent shooting and just missed on a double-double by matching the game-high of nine rebounds in the Mariners' 66-50 loss at Brooklyn College; it was the senior's fourth-straight game with 20 points or more, as he now ranks 20th among all Division III players in scoring.
