Men’s Soccer All-Conference Team Announced

NEW YORK | St. Joseph's-Brooklyn star scorer Victor Naci scored his way to a second Offensive Player of the Year award in the last three years in the latest Skyline Men's Soccer All-Conference Team results.

In voting conducted by the league's 12 head coaches, Naci is joined by teammate Matthew Kieblesz in the major award category. Kieblesz has been named Defensive Player of the Year along with St. Joseph's-Long Island's Sebastiano Bartolotta whose Golden Eagles won the regular-season crown.

The Golden Eagles boast six first-team selections, and the Coach of the Year in Robert Gomez. Mount Saint Vincent's Javier Trujillo, the conference's leading scorer, garners Rookie of the Year honors.

Naci (below) did plenty of scoring of his own, finishing second to Trujillo with 14 goals. He was also among the league leader in shots and shots on target, recording a hat trick against the Dolphins and braces against Maritime and Sarah Lawrence this fall. He was named Skyline Conference Offensive Player of the Week once and became the Bears' record goal scorer against NYU reaching 45 career goals.

With Naci doing the scoring, Kieblesz (below) helped the Bears reach the postseason by adding five goals, including two match-winning goals (at Purchase and against Farmingdale State). His game-winning goal against the Rams clinched the team's first Skyline playoff berth. He also received one Skyline Defensive Player of the Week this fall.

Bartolotta was equally impressive for the top-seeded Golden Eagles following up an All-Conference Second Team in 2023 with a Defensive Player of the Year honor and a First Team distinction in 2024. He played 1,222 minutes for the league's best team, anchoring the defense and scoring one goal for a program that won 12 straight contests to close the regular season.

Bartolotta's bench boss, Gomez (below), joined the Golden Eagles as their leading man in 2023 and followed a postseason berth with a perfect regular-season campaign this fall. St. Joseph's-Long Island went 12-1-2 overall and 11-0 in conference play. The Golden Eagles secured a first-round bye and will now play in the conference tournament semifinals Wednesday.

Trujillo (below) was a breakout star for the playoff bound Dolphins, netting a conference-best 15 goals to lead UMSV to the postseason. He recorded 34 points to lead the Dolphins. UMSV's best scorer is the league's top rookie.
In addition to Trujillo's honor, the Second Team features a league-leading four from UMSV and is also highlighted by three from Manhattanville and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
