Purchase Tennis Standout Perlmutter Receives 'Elite 19'

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. I The Elite 19 Award for women's tennis was presented during the semifinals today at Farmingdale State.

As the host Rams welcomed Purchase College in the conference championship, newly minted Panther First Team All-Conference selection Ameila Perlmutter was honored with the conference's newest award for 2024-25 on the same day she received the all-conference news.

The Skyline's Elite 19 Award, modeled off of the NCAA's Elite 90 Award, is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing in each of the Skyline's 19 championships. In the event of a tie, the award is given to the student-athlete who has completed the highest number of credits.

This year's honoree for women's tennis is the sophomore playwriting and screenwriting major from Purchase with a perfect 4.0 on an unweighted scale.
