In her first week as a Golden Eagle, Goodyear (above) came out on top in both of her singles matches … She pulled out an 8-4 victory in No. 4 singles against Baruch before edging out a win (4-6, 6-4, 1-0) at No. 5 singles against Hunter.

Honor Roll

Yeshiva junior Sarah Leiderman played a pivotal role in the team’s victory over Purchase, picking up two crucial points for the Macs in both singles and doubles; at fourth singles, she faced a marathon of a match, ultimately coming out on top by a score of 4-6, 7-6(4), 7-6(2) … St. Joseph’s-Long Island sophomore Victoria Corcoran pulled out a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles against Hunter, and also came away with an 8-5 win at first doubles in the match against the Hawks.
