Nicolosi (above) collected nine goals in Maritime's home wins over Southern Virginia and Morrisville … She had a hat trick while adding an assist against Southern Virginia ... Nicolosi also recorded a ground ball and a caused turnover in the victory ... She scored four times in the first nine minutes of the game as part of a six-goal performance against Morrisville to cap the week … In that win, she contributed an assist and a ground ball on her way to her first Skyline Offensive Player of the Week.

Lesiewicz (above) contributed on both ends of the field in Maritime's home victories over Southern Virginia and Morrisville … She controlled six draws, caused a turnover and picked up a ground ball in addition to notching a goal and two assists in the 12-11 win against Southern Virginia … She set season highs with nine draw controls, five caused turnovers and six ground balls against Morrisville to close the week ... She also had nine points in the game (5g, 4a).

Rookie of the Week

Pierce (below) has had a phenomenal start to her rookie season, scoring six goals with seven ground balls and one caused turnover ... She scored twice in the season-opening win at Pfeiffer, netting a pair of free position goals while collecting three ground balls … At Guilford, Pierce scored four goals as the Valiants completed a comeback win ... She collected four more ground balls while causing a turnover.

Manhattanville grad student midfielder Kerry Carr lifted the Valiants to a 2-0 start to the season with a nine-point week, scoring five goals and handing out four assists in wins over Pfeiffer and Guilford … Mount Saint Vincent sophomore midfielder Alicia Rodriguez notched five goals, two assists and 14 ground balls in a loss against Utica … Mount Saint Mary senior attack Victoria Ward put together an 11-point week for the Knights, scoring five goals and assisting on six others to go along with three groundballs and five draw controls … St. Joseph’s-Long Island midfielder Jamie Trowbridge totaled five goals and three assists for a total of eight points in two games for the Golden Eagles, including scoring three goals in a win over Ramapo … Mount Saint Mary freshman attack Shannon McGowan finished a three-game week for the Knights with four points, scoring three times and recording an assist … St. Joseph’s-Long Island freshman attacker/midfielder Kayla Sodano helped guide the Golden Eagles to a 1-1 week, tallying two goals and one assist for a total of three points … Manhattanville senior midfielder/defender Abbey Playle led the team’s defensive effort with eight ground balls, four caused turnovers and seven draw controls … St. Joseph’s-Long Island goalkeeper Maggie Harding led the Golden Eagles, recording 22 saves in two games … Farmingdale State junior attack Nicole Pontecorvo netted the game-winning goal to clinch an overtime victory, 12-11, over Ramapo.
