Kalotihos (above) led the Gryphons in a tri-meet against Purchase and St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, finishing second overall and behind the first-place runner by just four seconds … The senior has led the Gryphons in every race this season … This is his first runner of the week award this fall.

Gopie (above) was the top finishing Division III freshman at the NJIT Highlander XC Challenge at Branch Brook Park in Newark, as he completed the 8,000-meter course in a 15th-place time of 26:20.2.

Joey DeMilio paced the Valiants at the NJIT Highlander Challenge, clocking in at 28:06.2 to take 54th overall; he averaged a mile time of 5:39.2 in the 8K race, leading Manhattanville to a 17
th-place finish as a team in the field of 28 schools … St. Joseph’s-Long Island grad student
Matt Lopez was the Golden Eagles’ top finisher and turned in a time of 25:36.5 for an overall third-place finish out of 234 finishers at NJIT … St. Joseph’s-Long Island freshman
Ryan Steinberg finished 33rd overall in the 8K race with a time of 27:25.2 … Maritime senior
Jake Mundok led the Privateers to a fifth-place team finish at the Jack St. Clair Memorial Invitational, finishing13th overall with a time of 29:29.5 in the 8K.
