Sheedy (above) runs away with her second Runner of the Week honor this fall … She was the individual champion in her first career 6K race at the MSMC Invitational, crossing the finish line in 25:07.7 … Sheedy has now won two of her first three races in her first year running collegiately.

Farmingdale State senior Alycia Haynes registered a second-place finish at the MSMC Invitational, crossing the finish line on the 6K loop in a time of 25:29.9 … St. Joseph’s-Long Island’s Gianna Dickson placed sixth with a 6K time of 26:30.6 at the MSMC Invitational; fourth-best among Skyline runners … Maritime senior Rachel Zareva took fifth individually at the PSU Abington Invitational in 27:26.24 … Purchase freshman Sophie Morrison was the top finisher for the Panthers at Bard College's Fred Pavlich Invitational, clocking a 25:07.3 (17th overall).
