Clark (above) was the individual champion in the 8K race at the MSMC Invite, crossing the finish line well ahead of many of his Skyline rivals with a time of 26:43.9 … The freshman helped lead the Mariners to a first-place team finish at the meet … This is Clark’s second Runner of the Week honor this fall.

Rookie of the Week

Luke Zwiesler, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy  
Freshman; Colbert, Wash./Mt. Spokane
 
Zwiesler (above) garners his second Rookie of the Week honor this season … He finished in fourth place at the MSMC Invitational after crossing the finish line with a time of 28:06.5 … The standout rookie helped lead USMMA to a first-place team finish at the meet.

Honor Roll
 
St. Joseph’s-Long Island senior Matt Lopez (27:52.1) finished in third place at the MSMC Invitational and was the second-best Skyline runner at the event … Farmingdale State senior Matthew Calogianes  ran to an 8K time of 28:14.7 at the MSMC Invitational, good for fifth place and helping the Rams to a fourth-place finish as a team … Maritime senior Jack Lehnhardt led the Privateers to second place in the team standings at the PSU Abington Invitational, finishing seventh individually (29:27.20) … Purchase freshman Robert Royston recorded an impressive 19:41 time on the 6K course at Bard's Fred Pavlich Invitational, finishing third overall – clocking in just 1.7 seconds behind No. 2 and 18.5 behind the top finisher.
