Offensive Player of the Week

Jessie Wohner, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy
Senior, Attack, Norfolk, Va./Bishop Sullivan Catholic

Earns her is third straight Offensive Player of the Week award and fifth overall...Wohner again set a new Academy record with 14 points in the Mariners' shutout win over Purchase on Saturday, scoring six times and dishing out eight assists on the afternoon...the eight assists also established a new Academy-high for a single game...on Wednesday at Mount Saint Mary, she had nine points on five goals and four assists...also led the Mariners with seven caused turnovers over the two games and picked up eight ground balls.

Recorded a 7.00 goals against average and .533 save percentage in two Skyline road wins to help the Rams clinch a first-round bye in this week's conference championship...posted a seven-save shutout Wednesday at Purchase...made nine stops in the one-goal decision Saturday at Mount Saint Vincent.

Manhattanville’s Kerry Carr had another strong week of two-way play, recording eight points on the offensive end while collecting six ground balls, causing five turnovers, and earning 16 draw controls...Melissa Newman led St. Joseph’s-Long Island with nine points on six goals and three assists against Manhattanville...Farmingdale’s Megan Diamond led the Rams in scoring (8g, 4a, 12 pts.) and ground balls (11) in a 2-0 road Skyline week...included in that was a hat trick with one assist, seven ground balls, and two caused turnovers Wednesday at Purchase before adding a career-high eight points (5g, 3a), including the game-winning free-position marker with 1:47 to go, in a 15-14 triumph Saturday at Mount Saint Vincent...Manhattanville’s Maura Kelly recorded nine points on seven goals and a pair of assists in two games, including five points (4 G, 1 A) as Manhattanville completed a six-goal comeback on Wednesday against SJU-LI....USMMA’s Maddie Schmidt caused six turnovers, picked up six ground balls, and secured nine draw controls.
