Clark (above) garners the honor for the third time this season and for the second consecutive week … He was the first Division III runner to cross the finish line of the men's 8K race at St. Joseph's-L.I.'s Golden Eagle Invite as he broke the tape with a time of 24:50.5, nearly two whole minutes ahead of any other runner from another team in the conference … Clark led Merchant Marine to a first-place team finish at the meet.
Rookie of the Week
Luke Zwiesler, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy
Freshman; Colbert, Wash./Mt. Spokane
Zwiesler (above) garners back-to-back Rookie of the Week honors this season … He came in third overall (the second DIII runner) to cross the finish line of the men's 8K race at the Golden Eagle Invite … Zwiesler, who now has three Rookie of the Week honors on the fall, finished the race in 25:44.1, just under a minute behind teammate and Runner of the Week Isaac Clark.

Jack Lehnhardt led the Privateers at the Paul Short Run, finishing 109th out of 340 competitors with a time of 27:07.2, the seventh-fastest 8K clocking in school history ... Purchase freshman
Robert Royston clocked an 8K time of 27:05.9 at the Golden Eagle Invitational, pacing the Panther squad and finishing 8th overall in a field of 100 runners.
