For the second time this season, Riddle (above) is Player of the Week … She finished off a busy four-match week with 49 kills, 34 digs, eight aces and four blocks for the Mount, who went 2-0 against league rivals and 2-2 overall … Riddle opened the week with 15 kills, hitting .500, eight digs, four aces and two blocks with a sweep of Sarah Lawrence and followed that up with 17 kills, hitting .359, two aces, six digs and two more blocks in a straight set win at St. Joseph's-Brooklyn … Riddle finished off the week with 17 combined kills against Misericordia and Lebanon Valley, lifting 10 digs in both matches.
Libero of the Week
Grace Ballagas, Manhattanville
Sophomore; Carolina, Puerto Rico/Robinson School
Ballagas (above) totaled 49 digs, four aces and four assists on the week for Manhattanville ... She had 12 digs with three aces and an assist against Purchase ... After nine digs in a three-setter against Mount Saint Vincent, she totaled 28 digs in a tri-match at Stockton ... Ballagas opened up the weekend twinbill with 18 digs against Stockton and then had 10 digs, three assists and an ace in a sweep of Hunter … This is her third Libero of the Week honor this fall.
Rookie of the Week
Loren Hernandez, Manhattanville
Freshman, Outside Hitter; Toa Baja, Puerto Rico/American Military Academy
Hernandez (below) rolls to her fifth straight Rookie of the Week … The freshman totaled 43 kills, 29 digs and seven aces across a 3-1 week for the Valiants ... She began the week with 15 kills, three aces and a pair of digs in a sweep of Purchase … Hernandez then dug seven balls and served four aces against CMSV ... She totaled 17 kills and 20 digs in the Stockton tri-match to close the week.

Deirdre Carney finished the week with 20 kills averaging 2.22 kills per set and recorded a team-leading .395 hitting percentage.
