NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference's 11 head women's soccer coaches have cast their votes on the 2019 edition of the all-conference team, and St. Joseph's College-Long Island senior forward Christina Gagliardi and Mount Saint Mary College junior back Brittany Bornstad have been selected as the Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively.

Sarah Lawrence College freshman striker Niki Dalrymple is the conference's Rookie of the Year, while her mentor, Maurizio Grillo, has been voted Coach of the Year by his peers for the second-consecutive season.

Gagliardi topped the conference with 50 points, including a Skyline-high-tying 22 goals in her 16 games played as a senior. Her goals total ties for the sixth-highest mark in NCAA Division III, and she was named national Player of the Week by the United Soccer Coaches once during the campaign.

Bornstad, a two-time Skyline Conference Defensive Player of the Week selection, anchored a Knights' defense that allowed just two goals in regular-season conference play. She added one goal and six assists on the offensive side of the field for Mount Saint Mary.

Dalrymple tied with Gagliardi for the conference goal-scoring title, and earned four rookie-of-the-week citations from the Skyline along the way. She netted a hat trick in first-round conference championship action, helping Sarah Lawrence to a semifinals appearance for the second-straight campaign.

Grillo has been selected by his peers as Coach of the Year for the second-straight campaign, which coincides with the Gryphons advancing to the conference semifinals in both the 2018 and '19 seasons. Sarah Lawrence was the No. 3 seed in this season's championship, after registering a 14-5 mark and an 8-2 ledger in conference play.

Gagliardi, Dalrymple and Bornstad are part of a 16-player all-conference first team, while 13 student-athletes garnered second-team distinction. Additionally, 11 student-athletes were selected by their respective coaches to the all-sportsmanship team.
