NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference's 11 men's soccer head coaches have voted on the 2018 edition of their all-conference team, and St. Joseph's College-Long Island junior Rayneri Ruiz and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy junior Matthew Milner have been selected as Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year, respectively.

Yeshiva University freshman Jonah Beberman was selected as Rookie of the Year, while SUNY Maritime College mentor Daniel Gwyther was voted as Coach of the Year by his peers.

Ruiz scored 12 goals over 18 matches to lead the Golden Eagles.

Milner posted a conference-best 0.64 goals against average in net for the Mariners, had seven shutouts and stopped 46 shots for a .793 save percentage.

Beberman has scored 10 goals for the Maccabees in his freshman campaign.

Gwyther is in his fifth season at the helm of the Privateers, and helped his side to the No. 2 seed in last week's Skyline Conference Championship. The Buffalo alum's career record in Throggs Neck is 55-36-4.
