NEW YORK - The 2015 Skyline Conference Men's Soccer Championship is slated to get underway this weekend, with a pair of first-round contests commencing the six-team tourney.

Top-seeded Sage (11-3-3, 7-1-2 Skyline) and No. 2-seed St. Joseph's-Long Island (9-10-1, 7-2-1) will play host to semifinal action on Wed., Nov. 4, with their respective home matches starting at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Before that, though, fourth-seeded Maritime (12-6, 6-4) will play host to No. 5-seed Mount Saint Vincent (11-6-2, 5-3-2), Oct. 31 at 11 a.m. One day later, the sixth-seeded Maccabees of Yeshiva (6-7-2, 5-3-2) travel to the tournament's third seed, Farmingdale State, for an 11 a.m. kickoff.

Sage has conceded just 12 goals throughout the season, with senior backstop TJ Zehner posting a 0.73 goals-against average along the way.

St. Joseph's (L.I.) buried 25 of its 34 goals on the year in Skyline play, with Justin Busto and Justin Heredia bagging seven and six markers, respectively.

Farmingdale State received nine goals up top from newcomer Richard Mastrangelo III, and will face YU's Itamar Ben David (conference-best-tying 12 g) in first-round play.

Maritime's 24 goals allowed this year was second only to the top-seeded Gators, with keeper Karl Weber anchoring the Privateers' defensive box. The hosts on Saturday will have to contend with Mount Saint Vincent's duo of Kevin Jardines (conf.-best 31 pts.; 11 g, 9 a) and Jair Magallan (10 g, 4 a).

The highest remaining seed after the two semifinal matches will play host to the championship on Saturday, Nov. 7 (Nov. 8, if Yeshiva advances), with the conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship at stake.
