Skyline Spotlight: Kelly Fraser, Mount Saint Vincent

2013-14 Season Highlights: Fraser has been named Skyline Conference Player of the Week twice so far this season…averaging a double-double through 13 games this season and is good for 17.2 points per game and 12.8 rebounds per game…ranks sixth nationally in blocked shots (3.46 bpg.) and 12th in rebounds per game…leads CMSV with eight double-doubles…recorded a career-high 35 points against nationally-ranked  Randolph-Macon on Dec. 18 and grabbed a career-best 21 rebounds against Mount Saint Mary on Jan. 15. 

Career Highlights: Named second-team All-Conference and second-team  All-Met Writers following the 2012-13 season…has earned three Skyline Conference weekly honors; one Rookie of the Week award during the 2011-12 season and two thus far in 2013-14…has compiled 17 double-doubles…boasts career averages of 11.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game thru 56 career contests.

USA Basketball: Fraser played with a USA Basketball All-Star team during the summer of 2013 that toured through Italy…the team consisted of Division II and III players and played four games throughout Italy against U18 and U22 club teams.

Did You Know?: Fraser is also a member of the women’s lacrosse program at Mount Saint Vincent. Through two seasons, she has registered 52 goals and 58 points in 22 career contests.
