2007 Skyline Conference Women's Cross Country Championship Results
ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - St. Joseph’s College placed five runners in the top 13 in cruising to its second consecutive Skyline Conference Women’s Cross Country Championship on Sunday at Bard College. The Golden Eagles compiled a team score of 41, finishing comfortably ahead of second-place Purchase (63) and third-place Bard (98).
College of Mount Saint Vincent freshman Angie Iribarne captured the individual title with a time of 20:56 on the 5,000-meter course. Iribarne finished comfortably ahead of second-place finisher Maya Segers (21:40) of Purchase.
St. Joseph’s had three runners finish in the top ten, earning All-Skyline Conference honors. Elyse Patrella (21:57) and Katie Baudier (22:01) finished third and fourth respectively while Bridget Kissinger (22:52) and Michelle Petrina (22:57) placed 10th and 11th respectively. Jenna Monahan (23:11), who placed 13th, was the fifth St. Joseph’s runner to score.
The top ten individuals earned All-Skyline honors. Additional all-conference finishers included Kristyn Ruggiero of Farmingdale (5th; 22:05), Erica Ball of Bard (6th; 22:16), Patricia Gaeta of Purchase (7th; 22:22), Stephanie Walpole of Mount Saint Mary (8th; 22:30), and Tamsin Flanders of Bard (9th; 22:38). The field of 60 competitors was the largest for a Skyline women’s championship.
