Montclair State University senior midfielder Bethany Blaine was selected as the Most Valuable Player in the Skyline Conference women’s lacrosse championship after recording eight goals, two assists, nine ground balls and nine draw controls in the Red Hawks’ two tournament victories. In the championship game, Blaine scored three consecutive goals in the first half as Montclair State extended 3-1 lead to a 6-1 lead. She also added a team-leading four ground balls along with five draw controls.
