St. Joseph’s College senior Jennifer Martinez set an NCAA Division III record with 24 strikeouts in a game as the Golden Eagles earned a 3-2, 11-inning victory over New Jersey City. Martinez, who had 54 strikeouts in three games on the week, also established a Division III single-season record for strikeouts as she heads into the conference tournament with 409 to her credit.
