Freshman shortstop Joe Mazzarese batted .409 (9-for-22) with five runs batted in and four runs scored. He was also 4-for-6 in stolen-base attempts. Mazzarese hit safely in five of the Panthers’ six games. In a doubleheader with Maritime, he went 6-for-8 with four runs batted in and three runs scored.
