Senior catcher Chris Schacca continues to swing a hot bat for Mount Saint Mary College. In five games last week, Schacca batted .667 (12-for-18) with a .727 on-base percentage. He also doubled twice, homered, drove in seven runs, scored six and stole two bases. Schacca, who leads the conference with a .488 average, was 4-for-8 against Purchase, and a perfect 7-for-7 with two walks and four runs batted in in a doubleheader with Maritime.
