St. Joseph’s College sophomore Dan Celentano got his season off to an impressive start. Playing at first singles, Celentano recorded a 6-7, 7-5, 7-5 victory over Adi Isaacs of Yeshiva. He then combined with Steve Asti for an 8-2 victory at first doubles, giving St. Joseph’s a 5-4 team victory over the Skyline preseason favorite. The victory over Yeshiva was the first for St. Joseph’s in head coach Glenn Nathan’s five-year tenure.
