College of Mount Saint Vincent sophomore Joe Blackford batted an impressive .667, going 6-for-9 as the Dolphins opened their spring trip by winning two of their first three games in Fort Pierce, Fla. Blackford, who went 2-for-3 in each game, had a double, two runs scored and three runs batted in as Mount Saint Vincent earned a sweep of a doubleheader against Empire 8 foe Utica College on Sunday.
