Junior shortstop Brian Benvenuto had a strong spring trip for Farmingdale State College. Benvenuto, who batted .423 in nine games, had 11 hits (3 doubles, 1 home run), 12 runs batted in five runs scored, four walks and two stolen bases. His top performance came in a 16-6 win over Wisconsin Lutheran in which he went 3-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and six runs batted in. Benvenuto also had a home run and three runs batted in against Wittenberg.
